![]() Malware Infections Grow 15%The anti-virus company, Panda Security, just released a report today showing that malware infections have grown by 15% worldwide. In particular, malware infections hit an all time high of 60% globally. The results for September were gathered from August 28 to September 28 and compared with the results from July 28 to August 27 of this year. According to the report, 59% of computers worldwide have malware infections. Tawain leads the pack with an infection ratio of 69%, while Norway has the least infections at 39%. The United States ranks comes in at number nine with an infection ratio of 58%. ![]() Credit: Panda Security For the United States, trojans, adware, and worms are the main types of malware infections. This indicates that most computer users in the United States have only an anti-virus tool installed; most anti-virus programs cannot detect these types of malware infections.
