I’ve got some sort of virus that won’t let your program start,or scan or whatever it’s supposed to do. Everything is getting blocked. Somebody is demanding money from me to make it go away. They want my credit card number, then they’ll start they’re anti-virus scan and remove the hell they have created…..
Mike, do you know what messages it displays? Does the screen of the virus program have a name? That will let you know what instructions to follow. Otherwise, you can boot into safe mode with networking (instructions) and download the recommended spyware remover program on this website. Then you can do a scan and figure out what virus you have. Finally, you can let the spyware remover program remove it for you or find the manual removal instructions for that particular virus.
Whatever you do, do not pay or enter your credit card number for that virus… if you pay, the virus will still be there.
