Remove Antivirus 2009

Antivirus 2009 is a fake anti-spyware program, it is a program designed to scam computer users to pay money in order remove infections even if the user’s computer is infection free. Antivirus 2009 is a clone of the notorious Antivirus 2008 that infected computers in 2008.

Your computer is infected with Anitvirus 2009 when you download and install a video codec from a rogue website. The video codec contains a trojan (such as Zlob or Vundo), malware, and/or virus to infect your system. Once Antivirus 2009 has installed itself on your computer, it floods your system with popups and fake system messages to inform you that there are infected with a variety of viruses and spyware. The purpose of these fake popups and messages is to convince you to purchase a licensed version of Antivirus 2009 in order to remove the infections even though the only true infection maybe Antivirus 2009 itself.

In addition to generating fake infection messages, Antivirus 2009 may redirect your web browser to fradulent, malicious websites such as antivirus-premium-scan.com, googlescanners-360.com, livesecurityinfo.com, antivirusonlivescan.com, bestantivirusscan.com, antivirus-best.com, internetquarantinesite.com, premiumlivescan.com, secureclick1.com and webscannertools.com which sells Antivirus 2009. Do not buy Antivirus 2009 or download it, it is a scam.
