Remove Antivirus 7

Antivirus 7 also known as Antivirus7 is a rogue program made to look like a Windows affiliated program. It usually appears unexpectedly via means of a pop-up window displaying a message that your computer is infected. Once you respond to it, you’ll be brought to a web page advertising Antivirus 7 as if it were a genuine malware scanner. In order to remove the viruses it states that you have, you must download its program. Once you download and run it, it will destroy vital Windows operating system files making your computer unstable or inoperable. Removing Antivirus 7 from your computer can be difficult unless you know exactly what to do.

Once you have removed Antivirus 7 from your computer using either the automatic or manual method, make sure to block it and other malicious software using a HOSTS file. Please note that with the auomatic method, your computer should be protected from future spyware threats since you now have a spyware blocker program installed. We recommend downloading the HOSTS file from here, which contains a complete, up-to-date list of malicious websites especially if you used the manual method.

After I tried to manually remove Antivirus7 from my computer using other articles that I found around the Internet, I came across this one and decided that I would give it a try. I have to say that I am extremely grateful at how this author wrote the article in such a way that ANYONE can do this process. I printed the article and the blue links that say “Learn how to kill processes”, “Learn how to unregister DLLs” and so on. To my surprise I even needed the one on how to boot into safe mode. I am not computer savvy nor had I ever done something like this before. I am extremely grateful that the author in this article thought about those of us that need a “how to-dummy” explanation. I was able to finally get rid of this virus after almost one week of trying by other means. It takes some time in front of the computer but it is not frustrating because of how everything is explained. Don’t try anything else before giving this article a chance. Otherwise I would not be commenting on this… I NEVER comment on anything, but I had to do it for this one, it deserves the praise!

    Thanks a lot!!!
