Remove Antivirus Pro 2010
Antivirus Pro 2010 is the latest rogue anti-spyware program designed to scam users. It is a variant of PC Antispyware 2010. Antivirus Pro 2010 is bundled with or installed by other malware. In particular, the Braviax malware, which contains the trojan horse virus Trojan.Virantix.C, is the main malware responsible for the spread of PC Antispyware 2010. Once Antivirus Pro 2010 has infected your computer, it will generate a bunch of random files and automatically configure itself to perform a scan whenever Windows is restarted. This scan will detect the random files and state that they are infections, but will not allow you to remove them unless you purchase a license for Antivirus 2010. However, the random files that the installer creates are harmless and are only created to validate the scan results and trick you into thinking your computer is infected. Even if you close the automatic scanner, Antivirus Pro 2010 is still running in the background. As a result, numerous security alerts will appear from your Windows taskbar stating that an infection was found or that your computer is under attack. These security alerts are just another trick that Antivirus 2010 uses scam you into purchasing it. In addition, it will also impersonate Windows Security Center and tell you that
your computer is not protected and to purchase Antivirus Pro 2010. You should ignore all these fake alerts and remove this parasite immediately. This rogue program will try to disable your anti-virus program which leaves you vunerable to a more harmful infection.
