Remove DefendAPc
DefendAPc is a fake antispyware program designed to steal user information by appearing similar to a genuine computer security software. It is from the Wini malware family. Installed through a variety of Trojan Horses within downloaded video codecs, DefendAPc attempts to restart your computer for a fake security scan. The fake scan will return a fake report that says DefendAPc has detected “infected” files in order to pressure users to enter their credit card details to remove these threats. Once you have removed DefendAPc from your computer using either the automatic or manual method, make sure to block it and other malicious software using a HOSTS file. Please note that with the auomatic method, your computer should be protected from future spyware threats since you now have a spyware blocker program installed.
