Remove Desktop Security 2010
A spyware program designed to simulate the function of actual computer security programs, Desktop Security 2010 aka DesktopSecurity2010 is actually programmed to encourage users to pay for registration of the software. By displaying a variety of fake security threats, the program should be viewed as both a privacy and security threat to user machines. In addition, Desktop Security 2010 will disable access to Windows Task Manager to make it difficult to remove it. As a result, you may need to boot into Windows Safe Mode with Networking in order to attempt removal. Here is a screenshot and instructions to remove this rogue.
