Guard Online is a fake, rogue antivirus program belonging the Rogue.WinAVPro family; it is similar to the AV Guard Online malware. This fake antivirus program gets on your computer through fake security websites and trojan viruses. Once installed it will hijack your proxy settings, disable your ability to bring up task manager, and generates numerous fake security warnings. The Guard Online spyware will ask you to pay for a full version of its license in order to remove viruses and to fix your computer security. In particular, it will try to scare you into paying by saying that your your credit card information can be stolen by Zeus Keyloggers.
