Remove Personal Security
Personal Security is a fake antispyware program promoted through fake online anti-malware scanner websites. It is the latest variant of the Cyber Security spyware that has infected thousands of computers last month. When Personal Security installs itself onto your computer, it will disable your firewall and anti-virus software in order to prevent you from disabling it. In addition, it will automatically scan your computer and report it has found numerous infected files. In actuality, the reported files are fake or system files that if deleted could render Windows unbootable. Personal Security will tell you to purchase a full license in order to remove these infections; do not pay, contact your credit card company if you already have.
Besides the fake scan report, Personal Security will also impersonate Windows Security Center and tell you your computer is under attack. In addition, it will also create various security popups which state your computer security has problems and to purchase Personal Security in order to fix the issues.
