Remove ProtectSoldier

ProtectSoldier aka Protect Soldier is a rogue spyware program designed to extract a user’s credit card information. If you find the spyware on your computer, you should ignore its “Infections Detected” and immediately begin to take steps to remove it. Do not trust the fake scan and fake infection report it generates. ProtectSoldier will ask you to purchase a license in order to remove the fake infections it “finds”; this is just another scam. The program contains a variety of related malware files, and should be completely removed in advance of using your computer further with the following steps:

Once you have removed ProtectSoldier from your computer using either the automatic or manual method, make sure to block it and other malicious software using a HOSTS file. Please note that with the auomatic method, your computer should be protected from future spyware threats since you now have a spyware blocker program installed. We recommend downloading the HOSTS file from here, which contains a complete, up-to-date list of malicious websites especially if you used the manual method.
