SysDefenders is actually malware which is related to the Wini family is viruses. The program is most commonly found on European sites, and has versions including French, Italian and German program formats. Commonly, the program is downloaded by users looking for anti-virus software, and the program masquerades as a file necessary to view educational videos. Once the file is downloaded and run, it immediately reboots your machine resembling anti-virus technology. It will then run an automatic scan and report back that your computer has numerous infections. This is just a scare tatic to pressure you into purchasing this fake program. Once you have removed SysDefenders from your computer using either the automatic or manual method, make sure to block it and other malicious software using a HOSTS file.
