![]() Remove Virus ProtectorVirus Protector is a rogue anti-spyware software that is initiated into a computer system by way of malware. The program is designed to create fake, harmless files on your computer and then detect them as if they were threats. Before you can remove these fake threats from your computer, Virus Protector prompts you to purchase a full version – an obvious scam. Do not buy anything. Instead, you should look into getting an automatic spyware removal software that will detect rogue programs like Virus Protector and block them from ever coming onto your computer in the first place. That will also remove past threats on your computer, deleting all the necessary registry and program files. If you wish to get rid of Virus Protector manually though, you may follow the guide below. ![]() Warning! If the automatic remover is blocked by the spyware, then boot into Windows Safe Mode and try again. Learn how to boot into Safe Mode here.
Manual Virus Protector removal:Kill processes: [random].exe Unregister DLLs: Delete registry keys: Delete files: Delete folders: Once you have removed Virus Protector from your computer using either the automatic or manual method, make sure to block it and other malicious software using a HOSTS file.
