Win 7 Antispyware 2010 is a new fake antispyware program that infects computers running Windows 7. It changes its name and interface depending on the user’s operating system; on Windows Vista machines it becomes Antivirus Vista 2010 and on Windows XP machines it becomes XP Internet Security 2010. No matter what version you have installed, the characteristics of this rogue are the same. It makes itself look like a genuine Windows update by stating it was installed via Windows Automatic Update. After it is installed on your computer, it will automatically perform a fake scan and present false security threats to scare you into purchasing a license in order for removal.
